take sjst. +24.5 over the gators. Fla. not set on many positions and miami looms next week. With only 3 returning players on defense against a veteran sjst. offense; they'll give up some points. Fla's offense will be much better w/time this year, but without qb settled and vowing to play two/three deep at every position will lead to penalties and turnovers. sjst. vanilla 1st game has them laying in wait.

Fla and virg. very impressive yesterday; from a DEFENSIVE standpoint. also usc and ga. and cal. everybody else did as expected. maybe k.st. better due to cal.'s showing?
